Media Coordinator (Part-Time)

The media coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Hunt team in media & billing. The successful candidate will have a detail-oriented style and organizational skills. The candidate who performs well in this role will have growth opportunities available within the business.

​

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

​

  • Develop relationships with traditional media vendors and act as the liaison between partners and vendors for media placement

  • Work with account & business development teams to build media sheets

  • Research & present new media opportunities for partners

  • Work with internal teams to send media assets to publications/networks, etc., and work to ensure deadlines are met

  • Ensure media invoices have correct scripts, spend and meet all client co-op needs; communicate to media outlets to correct/modify invoices as needed

  • Import print & digital invoices into appropriate partner Google Drive folders for invoicing & co-op purposes

  • Ability to understand partner co-op needs

  • Deposit partner invoice checks to bank

  • Create envelopes and mail checks to media vendors

  • Research current media landscape and stay up to date with the latest media trends and opportunities

  • Potential to present media opportunities or provide clarification on any traditional elements (TV, radio, billboards, print, streaming TV, streaming radio) on partner calls

  • Utilize project management software (ClickUp) and follow internal project lifecycle process

  • Reports to Director of Media & Finance

Skills and Capabilities:

​

  • Confidence with numbers. Ability to calculate gross vs. net, track billing & invoices with spreadsheets, etc.

  • Project management skills - exceptional planning and organizational skills. Detail oriented.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain a self-directed workload

  • Ability to manage time well

  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines

  • Excellent team attitude

     

Job Requirements:

​

  • Preferred experience in relatable field

  • Located in Oxford, Mississippi

  • $20 an hour

  • Up to 20 hours per week

  • In-person only

  • Preferably in office daily, with Fridays required
    ​
